The Mayor, José Ballesta, accompanied by other members of the Corporation, has come this evening to celebrate the Christmas meeting with associations and residents of El Carmen in the exhibition hall of the civic center.
In this XVI meeting interventions have been carried out by nine groups and, as is traditional, after the same has been closed the event with a tasting Christmas sweets where many residents participated.
The order of appearance of the participants in this edition was: children from Scout Group Nuestra Señora del Carmen, the Center for Senior Day IMAS Murcia 1, two groups of Choral Singing Workshop El Carmen Cultural Center, the Center Folk Culture and Promotion of Adult Women downtown del Carmen, the Association of Friends of the Gaita, the rock orchard The Tablacho and Folk Virgin Group Vega.
This activity is part of "Christmas 2015 in El Carmen" program, whose proposals will run until January 4.
Organized by the Municipal Board and the Municipal Center El Carmen, the events planned include various children's theater performances in the auditorium of the Artillery Barracks, plus games and children's entertainment.
