The student at the University of Murcia Maria de las Mercedes Pelegrin Garcia has obtained a second prize in the XIV Archimedes University Competition, which seeks to introduce young people in scientific research.

This distinction, which is equipped with a thousand euros, has managed for the work entitled "Measures proximity to automatic classification based on imperfect information."

Maria de las Mercedes Pelegrín counted as tutor for the study with Professor Jose Manuel Cadenas Figueredo.
