The Governing Board has given its approval to the project and tender documentation for the procurement of health services in partner activities Day Care Centres of Barriomar, Beniaján and Cabeza de Torres.
The objective of this project is to provide social and health and family support services in response to basic, therapeutic and socio-cultural older people affected by varying degrees of dependency, promoting their independence and remain in their usual environment needs through Day Care Centers of the municipality of Murcia.
Specifically, the services that all users benefit from the Centers are: healthcare;
food and nutrition;
maintenance and physiotherapy;
personal hygiene;
psychological care;
occupational therapy;
support and intervention with families and transportation.
The action is carried out through an individualized comprehensive care that focuses on all those areas in which a dependent elderly person can find deficiencies: personal hygiene, food, health care, rehabilitation, social integration, counseling, training in lost skills , etc.
Murcia City Council, currently as much with three Day Care Centers in the city that cover the entire municipality, with a total 100 seats, distributed as follows:
Day Care Center of Barriomar-La Purisima, with 30 seats.
The Center is located in C / Shore Road, No. 167 bis of Murcia.
Day Care Center Cabezo de Torres, with 30 seats.
The Center is located C / Reina Sofia, No. 13, Cabezo de Torres, Murcia.
Day Care Center Beniaján that much with 40 seats.
The Center is located C / Adrian Fabian Escribano, Beniaján, Murcia.
The implementation period of this project is January 2016 until 31 December of the same year, with a total of 840,000 euros.
