The socialist councilor Susana Hernandez has submitted a request to the next regular plenary session of the City of Murcia for immediate intervention in the dining room of the Center for Infant and Primary Education (CEIP) Pintor Pedro Cano, El Palmar, as it has several deficiencies that need to be resolved as soon as possible.
At the same request it requested that the Ministry of Education to expand the furniture of these facilities and room service can be offered in the health and safety conditions required by law.
Both Susana Hernandez, as the PSOE spokesman in El Palmar and vice president of the Municipal Board, Tomas Gonzalez, recently visited the school and know first hand the problems raised, along with two executives of the Association of Parents of Students ( AMPA) school.
Specifically, the existence of other centers used appliances, which can cause food cold chain breaks, and toxic cleaning the mayor of school.
It also denounced the existence of a camping stove to heat food if necessary, to the 66 children who are users of this service dining, and finally, the existence of bad odors from pipes that protrude from the ground and do not meet the minimum conditions of security.
"The Department of Education must intervene immediately to resolve these shortcomings we tested directly on our visit to the center, or at least urge the Autonomous Community to the correct," said Susana Hernandez.
