The president of the Spanish Olympic Committee, Alejandro Blanco, has today, 27 November, at the headquarters of the COE "Athletes Employment Program" which aims to create a network of companies to channel employment for elite athletes .

The program, with the collaboration of the consultancy PriceWaterhouseCooper (PWC), the Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia and Editorial Unit aims to create at least two hundred jobs in a period of four years.

This initiative adds to the already initiated between the Olympic body and Bertelsmann for which 10 athletes have been incorporated into various subsidiaries of the multinational and which are still active enjoy facilities and combine their sporting life his professional career.

As explained by lawyer Alberto Palomar, the project stems from the needs expressed by athletes, both in health care and employment.
