On Monday, November 30, and December 1, will be the II International Congress of Art, Architecture and Heritage in the Jeronimos Monastery, home of the UCAM, organized by the International Chair of Arts of FCG University.
The inauguration will take place at 10: 00h and will be given by José Luis Mendoza, president of the UCAM and Cris Gabarrón, director of the Casa Pintada Foundation.
After the inauguration, Camilo Jose Cela Conde, director of the Laboratory of Human Systematics of the University of the Balearic Islands and only son of the late writer Camilo Jose Cela, will give the lecture 'brain Keys Beauty'.
It will speak on the creativity of the human mind and its perception of beauty.
At 10:45 hours the artist FCG, will speak on 'Art as a social function: Gabarrón method for learning the art', which will express the different types of art and the thousand ways to see it and create it.
Luis Rojas Marcos Conference
That same morning, at 12: 15h, the renowned psychiatrist Luis Rojas Marcos, professor at New York University and CEO of Physicians Affiliate Group of New York, will develop the conference "Art as therapy ', which will reflect on the ability of human beings to express themselves through art, and encouraging the same in both adults and children.
Monday morning will conclude with a panel discussion with the participation of three speakers mentioned.
Afternoon Session
The afternoon schedule, which begins at 16:30 and lasts until 19:00, will be dedicated to the field of architecture, with a lecture entitled 'The classical education of modern architects' of the architect and Projects professor in the School of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Luis Fernández Galiano.
In it the great figures of the twentieth century that transformed architecture, Frank Lloyd or Alvar Aalto be explained.
Tuesday, December 1
The day's program will focus on December 1 in the area of ​​heritage.
With the presentation "Methodology and criteria for restoration and conservation in galleries in Munich ', former chief curator of the Neue Pinakotheke Munich, Konrad Laudenbacher, will delve into the restoration of monuments today, with the mission of preserving the originality .
