Associate professor at the University of Murcia Eva Maria Serna Lopez will defend tomorrow, November 27, at 12:00 pm in the Lecture Hall of the Merced campus (Aula Antonio Soler), his doctoral thesis entitled "The Spanish Sign Language Internet: analysis and diagnosis of accessibility. "
The study, led by teachers of educational institution Murcia Celia Chaín and Ramon Almela, notes the lack of accessibility of the websites of the government for people with hearing disabilities and proposes a web model to correct the situation.
This is the first doctoral thesis presented at the University of Murcia on Spanish sign language.
