On November 25, the International Day is celebrated on the Elimination of Violence against Women.
Unit for Equality between women and men at the University of Murcia, attached to the Vice President for Student, Quality and Equality, has promoted and organized in recent weeks various actions to the complaint and elimination of this scourge.
They began last October 28 with the presentation of the mobilization to participate in a march against sexist violence that took place on November 7 in Madrid.
Shortly thereafter, on November 16 he was held in the University's Conference on Gender Violence.
Intergenerational roundtable
On the other hand, last Monday, November 23, and as a prelude to the activities to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, held at the Faculty of Law of the University of Murcia the roundtable "The Visible and the invisible male violence ", with the presence of Maje Girona (President of the Federation of Young Women), who spoke about the violation of women in health;
Ibanez Cecilia Fernandez (President of the Association AMMA), which referred to the cinema as a reflection of violence on the body of the woman and Rebeca Sanchez Uris (Popular TV journalist Murcia), who spoke on gender violence on television .
He intervened as moderator Eva Maria Rubio Fernández, Director of the Unit for Equality between Women and Men of the UMU.
Convention for gender equality training
Under the first Plan for Equality between Men and Women, the University of Murcia it has signed an agreement with Cajamar to convene "UMU-Cajamar Grants collaboration of students in the Unit for Equality between Women and Men of the University of Murcia for 2015-2016 "course.

Exhibition on Women

Theatre Manifesto and intergenerational dialogue
In addition, co-organizes the University of Murcia, together with the Federation of Women's Organizations of Lorca, the play group Limelight Guernica: Gender Violence: War and horror.
