The University of Alicante and the Museum of the AU have been organized in collaboration with the Cultural Service of the University of Murcia, the exhibition "Spain should know (overcome postwar)" at the University of Murcia.
The name of the exhibition is the title of a 1977 documentary directed by Eduardo Manzanos on a review of the recent history of Spain, though, as its curator remarks, emphasizing the second part of the title: close the war and achieve Peace nearly forty years after Franco's death because "the Civil War should not be the subject of profound differences between the Spanish."
The exhibition opens on Tuesday, November 24 at 20 pm in the Small Hall of the Museum of the University of Murcia, and will remain open until 17 December.
The exhibition includes a selection of 16 films of various genres that make up the panel headed by the title thereof, inviting visitors to watch movies and contrast them with photographs and texts exposed.
The same day 24, at 18 hours will be held in the Aula Jorge Guillen of the Faculty of Arts (Campus of Mercy) a conference by José Miguel Santacreu Soler, Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Alicante and Commissioner shows, who will address the theme "Filmography time and documenting the service of contemporary history".
