"Corruption, the harmful organism" is the title of the documentary that will be screened on Thursday, November 19 at 18.30 pm in the auditorium of the University of Murcia.
Directed by Albert San Feliu and Teresa Soler, the film proposes to move from complaint to action.
The documentary includes testimonies of witnesses and people affected by corruption relating their complaints and expose their key way to address this problem viable.
With this film, its makers have wanted to put on the table one of the issues of greatest concern to the public (according to the CIS).
According to the creators of the film, "the complaint and the complaint it is no longer enough, there is much we do not know, and the information is essential to eradicate this scourge."
"We must react and report to change the system," they say, adding that it is necessary to "an urgent review of sanitation and ethical values. We must begin to reward the reporting of corruption and also bringing to light loneliness and personal and professional risk experienced by those who denounce it. "
After the screening of the documentary, which is displayed as a matter of opening in the region, a discussion with the participation of Jose Molina, Chairman of Transparency Murcia will be held;
Fernando Urruticoechea, city comptroller general in the city of Orihuela;
Antonio Penadés, President of Civic Action Against Corruption and Fernando Jimenez Sanchez, Professor of Politics at the University of Murcia Science and Sanfeliú and Teresa Albert Soler, director of the documentary.
Will act as moderator Alberto Aguirre, Director of the newspaper La Verdad.
The event is organized by the Cultural Service of the University of Murcia and Forum, Social Discussion clearance.
