VOS programming Centrofama, an initiative that has the support of the Classroom of Cinema and Digital Culture at the University of Murcia, screened on Monday, November 9, the movie "Taxi Tehran" an Iranian film directed by Jafar Panahi which won the Golden Bear for best picture at the Berlin film festival.
Panahi, jailed several times for his country, is doomed not to direct films for twenty years.
Hence "Taxi Tehran" has no more credits to a black screen.
Despite the ban, Panahi placed a camera on the dashboard of a taxi, whose clientele and a sparkling dialogues serve to show how the Iranians living in a state of permanent censorship.
"Lesson film and life," "extraordinary puzzle game" or "one of the essential films of the year, if not of the decade" are some of the comments he has devoted criticism.
Sessions are at 17:30, 20:00 and 22:30.
The price is 4 euros for the general public and three for college and over 65 years.
