The University of Murcia (UMU) held today at the Faculty of Law a day, mainly for students, where entrepreneurship as one of the solutions to the unemployment problem is analyzed.
The rector, José Orihuela, said at the opening ceremony supporting entrepreneurs as one of the strategic pillars of its mandate and thanked the work, in this sense, is making the Vice President Transfer, Entrepreneurship and Employment, headed Professor Francisca Thomas.
The conference is organized by the Centre for Guidance and Information Employment (SIOC) of that Vice President, and the Union of Cooperatives of Murcia (UCOMUR), whose president, Juan Antonio Pedroza, thanked the UMU the effort made by bringing entrepreneurship to their students.
The event also counted with speeches by President of the Social Council of the educational institution, Javier Ruano, who has cited the actions promoted by this body to encourage entrepreneurship, and the coordinator of the Vice President Antonia Perez de los Rios.
The meeting agenda includes lectures King James I of New Technologies 2015, Professor at the University of Murcia Pablo Artal, and the entrepreneur Prize Miguel Huguet, along with a roundtable in which various successful initiatives are discussed.
