The University of Murcia is in ninth place in the ranking of public universities in Spain that stand out for the special attention given to transparency.
This is reflected in the report of the Commitment and Transparency Foundation which has just been released and are authors Cavanna and Esther Martin Javier Barrio.
In this report the University of Murcia has been classified as "transparent", which is an improvement compared to last year, which appeared as "translucent".
The University of Murcia is ahead of the universities of Cadiz, Castilla-La Mancha, Balearic Islands and Jaen, and the Polytechnic of Cartagena, among others.
Only precede the Carlos III of Madrid and Alcala de Henares, Cantabria, King Juan Carlos, Malaga, Vigo, Pablo de Olavide and Lleida.
To be included in this classification, the universities must meet at least twenty of the twenty indicators of transparency, what happens with the University of Murcia.
In addition, within the qualitative criterion, among those twenty indicators of transparency must be met, necessarily, two of those relating to economic information;
in particular those related to financial statements and audit report.
Among the criteria analyzed regarding employability shown results in other rankings, satisfaction rate of the students, a result of the teaching and research, grants and scholarships and supply of securities.
