The Municipal Socialist Group has achieved this Thursday the commitment of the City of Murcia reserves for an economic base for families in the Budget 2016 with scarce resources and to cope with the payment of the contribution, the Property Tax (IBI) known as' social IBI.
This has been one of the main initiatives of the PSOE in the Municipal Council of the City of Murcia continues being celebrated at this time (20:00), from 9:30 in the morning.
Four of the seven motions tabled by the Socialist Group have been approved unanimously.
Such motions are to create a Bureau of Public Transport in the representation of all stakeholders and its purpose must be the development of a real mobility plan for the town;
a request that the legal services of the City of Murcia, personates private prosecution in the case Umbra, cooperate with the Justice and actively work for the interests of the municipality and the municipality;
and the requirement to ensure legal guarantees for the residents affected by the reclassification of Joven Futura grounds, declared illegal by the Supreme Court.
Also, at the request of the Platform Pro Underground, the Municipal Socialist Group has tabled a motion to urge the Government of Spain to tender the works of a third rail for freight passing through Murcia, getting the unanimous vote of the Plenary .
Despite voting against the PP, the motion to develop a comprehensive excavation project that respects the 2006 agreement, defended in Parliament by the Socialist spokesman Jose Ignacio Gras, it has been approved by the votes of consolidate all the opposition after the motion presented by Now Murcia and Murcia's change in this respect it and vote together.
With the vote for PP and Citizens also it approved the motion presented by the PSOE demanding solutions to the growing wave of insecurity in the hamlet of Espinardo.
Now Murcia and Murcia's change abstained.
The motion for extension of Municipal Center Nonduermas has not gone ahead because of the negative vote of PP and C's, despite having received the support of other political groups.
As to joint motions where the Municipal Socialist Group has been, it has been unanimously approved the request to the regional government to take action regarding improper powers of the consistory;
the Council's commitment to combating gender violence and the departure of 7 November and the request to the Ministry of Education to build a school canteen in the city of La Paz CEIP El Palmar and the maintenance and enhancement of Railway Museum.
Social IBI
The Municipal Socialist Group has made it a condition to vote in favor of the Tax Ordinance commitment of the government team to implement a social IBI, designed for those families in the municipality experiencing financial difficulties.
