Under the slogan Photography a Better World, the Puertas de Castilla Cultural Centre will host from 12 to 15 November the II Solidarity Days Photograph Murcia.
Following the success of last year's edition, in 2015 the conference proposed that a shift to a more documentary, international vision and social commitment.
The cornerstone on which are built these days are the presentations and master classes.
Presentations of known and award-winning photographers: Alfons Rodríguez, José Palazón and Antonio Aragon waive, in which they show their committed work and discuss different aspects.
And the master class were Vicente Abad where we will teach all the tricks he used in his award-winning series.
In addition to the presentations and masteclass, the audience can enjoy various exhibitions in the Main Hall and the Hall of the 4th floor of the Puertas de Castilla Cultural Center.
"Ebola Ebola beyond" is the exhibition proposal photographer Alfons Rodriguez who gives us his vision of the post-Ebola that have plunged Sierra Leone into a reversal of decades of terrible consequences.
"A walk with the Classics" is the title of the series of Esteban Vicente in recreating classic scenes with a very personal touch and served to raise funds for the NGO ASPRODIS.
"The Dark Side of the Heart" includes and summarizes some of the series that I waive Antonio Aragon has been working in Africa in recent years and with whom he has collaborated on various projects the NGO OASIS.
In the Black Room they will be screened throughout the weekend multimedia speakers with some of his most representative works.
The conference will also have a series of parallel activities within the main program: Film screening of Photographers "A Thousand Times Good Night" War;
Opening tour with commentary by the authors to exhibitions (Friday 13);
Children's Photography Workshop (Saturday 14 am);
Projection of pictures of Photographic Associations of the Region of Murcia (Saturday 14);
Photo Contest;
Photowalk waive Antonio Aragon (Sunday 15 in the morning) ...
The Solidarity Conference II Photography "Photography a Better World" was held at the Puertas de Castilla, from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 November Cultural Center.
The objective of these Days is to raise funds for projects to help children in sub-Saharan Africa where the NGO operates OASIS for over 10 years developing countries.
