The Cabinet has approved a proposal of the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunity, the extension of the agreements signed with the city of Murcia for the maintenance of a total of 80 places in day centers for the elderly in situation of dependency Barriomar the district and the districts of Cabezo de Torres and Beniaján, for a total amount of 79,799 euros.

Specifically, 29,925 euros will be allocated for the maintenance of 30 seats in the center Beniaján day stays;

24,937 euros for 25 places in the center of Barriomar day and 24,937 euros for 25 seats in Cabezo de Torres.

The purpose of this service, aimed at older people in a situation of dependency, to promote a higher quality of life of this group.

This is to enhance their autonomy and delaying or avoiding thus joining in residential centers.

The initial agreements were signed with the city of Murcia in 2010.
