The Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia (UCAM) continues the process of accreditation and re-accreditation of their degrees.
Members ANECA (National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation) visited the university to evaluate three graduate degrees from the School of Sport: Master of Research in Physical Education and Health, Master of High Performance Sports and Master of Leadership and Management Sports Entities.
Members of ANECA, from the universities of Granada, Extremadura and Castilla La Mancha and the rating agency itself, visited the facilities and interviewed teachers and students of the Masters.
Manuel Carlos Ruiz, Director of Quality at the UCAM, remember that this visit is not timely and that accreditation and renewal of titles is becoming cyclically: "This visit is framed in the program of renewal of accreditation our university has been developing for two years. This process of continuous improvement has led us to currently have twenty or official titles that have renewed their accreditation or are in the process ".
The visit of the members of ANECA has begun in the UCAM Sports Center and followed by different laboratories regarding the evaluated master, which is essential according to the director of Quality of the Catholic University for experts to know the conditions in which they perform the practices. "These three degrees are evaluated within the scope of Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport and are related to the direction and management of sports centers, research and practice of sport This visit is required because here They develop many of the practices that perform these graduate students. In addition to the UCAM Sports Center, is going to visit different laboratories where practices associated with these securities are held ".
For his part, Antonio Sánchez Pato, dean of the Faculty of Sport, showed his belief in the great work done at the university for many years. "The UCAM has always opted for quality since its inception President introduced a quality system prior to the European Higher Education Area and Bologna ahead.
