The regional government has approved a proposal of the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunity, a grant to the city of Murcia, totaling 2,259,216 euros, to develop actions in the field of Social Services of Primary Care in the village.
This provision will allow to continue offering basic benefits within the Primary Care Social Services, as the maintenance of social service centers, the reinforcement of professionals for the care system and the accompanying program for social inclusion.
The Primary Care Social Services are the primary care level and include information service, assessment and advice to the population in terms of rights and social resources, deriving claims, if any, to specialized services or other resources.
Of that amount, the Community will provide its own funds and co-financing with the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, 1,965,268 euros for the maintenance of social service centers of primary care.
To reinforce dependency professionals and 146,972 euros is earmarked for the development of accompanying program for social inclusion, 146,976 euros.
