The University of Murcia yesterday handed the prizes to the best Aured audiovisual works by students of the Faculty of Communication and Information in the past year.
The awards ceremony, which took place in the auditorium of the Merced campus, included the screening of the 32 pieces selected in the categories of Fiction, Documentary, Film Videocreation New Formats, Music, Advertising and Trailer.
During the ceremony, which was chaired by the coordinator of Culture University, Eva Santos, and the Dean of the Faculty, Francisco Javier Martínez, the work of teachers of the students said, teachers Manuel Nicolas, Onesimo Hernandez and Virginia Villaplana.
Audience Awards, which gave viewers through voting conducted at the site of the contest http://muestraumucomunicacion.tk were for 'Wild' by Miguel Ormartz in the fiction category;
'Amores tying' collective Guns Girls (Paula Mínguez, Anais Gomez Sanchez Candelaria, Irene Martinez, Ana and Raquel Navarro Saiz), in the category of Documentary;
'IxC666' Emerald Meroño, Juan Antonio Hernández, Gloria Jimenez, Maribel Olmos, Maria Sabater, JJ Lopez and LV Dolly, in the category of Film New Formats Videocreation;
'Long Winter' by José Manuel Cabrera, Sara Cano, Antonio Martinez, Beatriz Ferrández, Jonathan Lopez and Mario Gomez in the category of video;
'UMU Sapiens' Alejandro Rodríguez Mayor, in the category of Advertising
and 'The Brand' Ismael Gimenez Nicolas, in the category of trailer.
The Awards Jury, composed mainly of teachers at the school, agreed with the Public in the categories of fiction and new formats of video creation, while in Documentary turned awarded 'Laborers piecework', Maria Mendoza, Maria Aguilar, Isabel Manzano, Beatriz Martinez, Miguel Angel Martinez, Eva Mira and Jose Alberto Morales;
in Music, 'Defects Side' by Raquel Abellán, Jennifer Espinoza, Raul Navarro and Laura Brown;
in Advertising, 'they say' Alba María Chouhab Gomariz;
and trailer, 'The Murcia murders' David Lajara.
In addition, the jury awarded special Production of 'The fourth wall' led by Yeray Rebollo and conducted by Maria Navarro mentions;
Interpretation of Jessica Ceron in 'Here', short film directed by Gloria Jimenez;
Paula Mínguez for her artistic direction in the film Gomez Anais 'involuntary protagonist';
