The Board of Governors approved the award of the work to renovate the street lighting and implement a remote management system in the neighborhood of Fame.
Specifically, the Department of Public Works will renew the lighting at Santa Rita and replacing outdated lighting environment of the area of ​​LED lighting technology.
He also will install a remote management system that allows, from the checkpoint in Building Services Abenarabi, monitor hours of operation, the light intensity and the impact produced in the installation of street lighting.
Thus, 47 LED luminaires 106 W will be installed to replace the existing ones, with a consumption of 165 W, which is reduced by 36% reduction in energy consumption.
The new points system will built energy saving by reducing the level of illumination from midnight, bringing the projected savings it reaches 60.94%, which represents a saving of CO2 emissions of 10 tonnes per year.
The work was carried Ferrovial Services within four months and with an investment amounting to 27,000 euros.
