The Department of Public Works, headed Roque Ortiz, continues to improve the public transport system in the municipality.
Line 12, which connects the Chapel of the Rosary with Ronda Norte, now has eight new stops located in the Valeras Lane, Lane Cayanos, urbanization cuff and Pintor Pacheco Saura.
With this measure, and as Ortiz says, "she is in response to local demand requesting us that stops this line was removed from one another. To offer more comfort and closeness to certain population centers, we have enabled these eight new stops ".
You remember that last June the hours of operation and frequency of this line was extended in December thanks to an agreement between the Department of Public Works and Transport concessionaire Murcia.
Thus, in July 2014 and provisionally, this line was launched working weekdays in the morning.
The City Council approved four months ago the expansion and improvement of the service, from 7 to 21 hours, with a frequency of 60 minutes, and from now on Saturday and Sunday (public holidays from 8 hours) will also be provided.
Line 12 connects the Chapel of the Rosary, the health center Infante, Reina Sofia Hospital, City Hall, the bus station of San Andrés and the San Anton
Ortiz explained that "these actions demonstrate that our public transport system is a living element because it continuously adapts dynamically to the needs of the neighbors."
