The Faculty of Sport of the Catholic University of Murcia held its traditional opening of course, this time with a special guest: Pepe Brown Domingo, one of the announcers for the Spanish sports radio in the last forty years.
The Temple of the Monastery of Jeronimos is filled with students of the Degree in CAFD (Science of Physical Activity and Sport) and TAFAD (Technical Animation of Physical Activities and Sports) San Antonio Superior Professional Training Institute.
But also many students of Journalism, Audiovisual Communication, Advertising and Public Relations and other qualifications attended the event to listen to popular radio announcer.
They have also participated in this event, Antonio Sánchez Pato, dean of the Faculty of Sport;
Beatriz Correyero, associate dean of the Degree in journalism;
and Antonio Semitiel, director of Communication at the UCAM.
Brown has shared some of his experiences in the world of sports radio with students and launched them some advice, both students of the Faculty of Sport and to the media: "It is very difficult for people to believe you if not you are true to what you do. "
Then he curled a little more to CAFD and TAFAD: "We are in need of sport professionals to ensure the future of our athletes."
