Murcia Circus Theatre will host on Thursday Neural Narratives I: Phantom Limb ', and a dance piece for four dancers technologies built on a disciplinary investigation based on mathematical models from cognitive neuroscience to generate choreographic structures and propose new approaches creative in the performing arts.
In Phantom Limb it will be seen how artificial neural networks can serve as an interface between real and imagined body parts limb.
In this regard a series of interactive audiovisual bodily extensions are attached to the body of the dancers establishing a joint in which both entities (real and virtual) reciprocally establish their creative world conditions.
Phantom Limb in physical activity of the dancers playing the central role in the evolution of sound and visual properties of the stage, and these are an interactive extension of body movement.
A series of interactive audiovisual creatures composed of neural networks are projected as holograms on stage space in response to movement of the dancers, adhering to your joints and becoming artificial and fellow dance with a certain degree of autonomy.
The ultimate aim is the production of this piece of dance and music that serves as a form of artistic dissemination of this research.
To achieve this goal, Muriel Moreno and Pablo palace have developed a series of software tools for simulation of neural networks and synthetic sounds.
These tools work as meta-support tools for the creation of choreographic structures connected with synthesized sounds and projected images that respond to movement and the state of the dancers.
The show presented tomorrow in Murcia Circus Dance Theatre program is part of the scene of the Spanish Network of Theatres, Auditoriums, Circuits and Festivals publicly owned.
