The City Council will provide a free service of labor, fiscal and commercial advice to entrepreneurs in order to assist and facilitate the launch of new businesses in the city.
The Mayor, José Ballesta, made the announcement at a meeting held at the Center for Municipal Initiatives with more than 20 project leaders housed in these facilities.
Ballesta, who was accompanied on his visit by Councilman Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco, has reported that this new proposal will be launched next year to help entrepreneurs in their first steps, which are often the more difficult.
It is, in short, a step of "support for these initiatives to encourage and facilitate the birth and consolidation of business activities in Murcia and create a favorable environment for those who create jobs," said the Mayor.
This "commitment Murcia entrepreneurs" is complemented by the convening of a grant award totaling 65,000 euros to realize their projects.
They are aids for companies incorporated in 2014 and 2015, with a maximum of 1,500 euros.
"Our intention is to promote entrepreneurship, facilitate business start-ups and encourage job creation and development of business activities in Murcia, with a focus on promoting entrepreneurship," said Ballesta.
Apart from these two-way direct support to the new business structure, the Mayor has also detailed the main points contained in the draft Tax Ordinance for the coming year prepared by the government team.
Apart from the deletion of the license for opening new businesses, the reduction of municipal taxes is mainly evidenced in a property tax rebate both the tax rate and the catastral- review and a freeze on government fees and charges.
Dialogue with the new entrepreneurs
The visit of the Mayor and Councillor for Employment ICMM aimed at exposing the fiscal policy of the City in 2016, but also to establish a dialogue with businessmen staying in municipal facilities and listen to their demands and ideas for improving the functioning of the center.
Among the proposals they have been the lack of parking in the area, the request for a caucus bicycle rental service MUyBICI, or improving your Internet connection.
They have raised the need to reduce the licensing of classified activities and reducing the rate for issuing the energy certificate, compulsory for rent or sell or a local housing requirement.
