The Governing Board gave the green light to the award of grants worth more than 216,000 euros for the restoration of facades of civil and private buildings and exterior restoration of religious worship and groups in the municipality of Murcia buildings.
Specifically, the city of Murcia, will assist in the rehabilitation of the Churches of St. Bartholomew and the Holy Spirit Parish of St. Bartholomew, allocating grants of more than 56,000 euros for the restoration of these religious buildings.
Specifically, 26,600 euros for the full restoration of the side facade of the Church of St. Bartholomew;
9,000 euros for the adaptation and improvement of access of the main facade of the Church of the Holy Spirit;
and 20,000 euros for the rehabilitation of the facade and the cover of the Parish of St. James the Greater.
On the other hand, and continuing with this restoration project, the City Council has allocated more than 160,000 euros for repairs, maintenance and improvement of facades, listed buildings, located in the city center of Murcia and La Alberca.
Owners who were submitted to the contest must attach a photo report on the current state of the property, valued memory of the restoration of the facade, reasons justifying the reference to the building and its cataloging and amount of the cost of works, among other things.
