The University of Murcia will host many of the activities of the "V Days of Solidarity with the Saharawi People", to be held from 13 to 15 October at the two public universities and other parts of the Region.
The various areas of the Saharawi culture greatly star in conferences and round tables scheduled, which will also address other issues such as the role of women or the issue of human rights.
The conference, to inaugurate the rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, Tuesday, at 11:45 am, on the terrace of the School of Social Work (campus of Espinardo), will be attended by a delegation of the Front Polisario and the Sahrawi government.
As in previous years, a tent will be installed on the campus of Espinardo, where traditional teas and workshops will be offered Henna- and carried out other activities such as a performance of the solidarity movement of the University of Murcia and a recital ActivArte of poetry by Rachid Nana.
The meeting will conclude with a concentration in favor of the Saharawi political prisoners in Moroccan prisons, with the participation of Murcia representatives of politics and trade unions as well as members of the Saharawi community resident in Murcia.
The conference is organized by the Saharawi delegation Murcia and Smile Sahrawi Association in collaboration with the University of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena through the Campus of International Excellence Mare Nostrum (CMN).
