The Department of Public Works will perform different lighting improvements included in the map of the municipality in order to modify poorly lit areas that need reinforcement and adapt to the parameters of energy efficiency.
The councilman of Promotion, Roque Ortiz, explained that "these actions also entail greater visual comfort as the white light improves color reproduction, reduced electrical power without losing luminaires and lighting level lower power consumption. "
The work of improving public lighting, which involve a total investment of 654,600 euros will be carried out in Polygon Infante Don Juan Manuel, Constitution Avenue, North Road from Ronda to Mayday, Garden Silk, Silk Square and Lane Las Palmeras.
€ 58,140: in the industrial Infante Don Juan Manuel 291 points of light that will cut power and 67.29% energy savings are replaced.
€ 86,400 to € 28,260.
In the 18 Constitution Avenue Salzillo model lampposts will be installed, such as those in the Gran Vía, designed in 2009 by the municipal technical services.
The annual energy savings will be 5%.
Meanwhile, in the northern bypass road from May Day to 344 points of light will be improved, with a power reduction of 25.7% and an annual energy savings of 23,300 euros.

Finally, in the Plaza de la Seda and Lane Las Palmeras, San Basilio 31 new points of light will be installed to improve lighting.
