CENTUM, the magazine of the Centenary of the University of Murcia, has just published a new issue, this time it is a special dedicated to Professor José Loustau, a key figure in the early decades of the University of Murcia and lead author of consolidation .
Among the contents of an interview with the number Loustau by Pascual Vera last September, half a century after his death itself is included.
The interview, certainly the longest of all that have been published about him, has been made possible by the statements and writings of the former Rector in exposing their thoughts and personal positions in relation to culture, with the University of Murcia and life was professor of Biology-.
The magazine includes portraits of famous scientist made by the Dean of the Faculty of Biology José Meseguer, and Juan Carlos Arguelles, Professor of Microbiology, as well as a tour of the most important facts of his biography by Manuel Acosta and Manuel Garcia Echevarrría Garre, the board of the Lab-Museum "José Loustau";
an article on the study of botany in Murcia between 1837 and 1939 and an interview with Consuelo Perez Sanchez, one of the last partner of Loustau.
