Professors of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Murcia, led by Gloria Alarcon, working on a project that aims to open the field of research in Europe where welfare and public infrastructure spending relates.
The research group at the University of Murcia conducts surveys in the 28 EU countries in order to create an index of welfare allocations related infrastructure in Europe.
This project will determine the extent to which children's schools, hospitals, public transport, care facilities for dependent, among others, affect the well-being of Europeans and in particular on women and the role female.
The first results of the investigation, which also teachers of the Technological Institute of Monterrey (Mexico) and the Universities of Modena (Italy) and Puebla (Mexico) involved, were presented at the European Institute for Gender Equality, based in Vilnius (Lithuania).
