Today, on October 8, 2015, at 18 am, will be the official opening of the first Artisan Week in Murcia, which will last until 17 and open during business hours.
The event, on Avenida de la Libertad, will be attended by the General Director of Crafts, Francisca Cabrera, with the Head of Craft, Antonio Redondo, and the coordinator of the Centers for crafts, Isabel Botia.
In Sample, recovered for the city by Mursiya Crafts Association, which will take place in the same Liberty Avenue, you can enjoy traditional crafts, such as leather goods, the traditional nativity scene or organic dairy, and other arts more modern, such as toys or cold porcelain.
In total there are eleven artisans of the region that also offer workshops for all ages take place in the same street.
During the Festival, the creations of some artisans who have been left out of this edition because of the short notice with which the act by the City Council authorized also displayed.
Artisan Week This exhibition tries to reclaim the vital role of crafts for the promotion of our culture and history, and also to the social and labor development of the region.
