The Hall of the UCAM has welcomed this morning the welcome ceremony of students from Erasmus, Latin America, and Overseas Science Without Borders program.
More than 200 international students from over 70 different countries, such as Mexico, Brazil, USA, Vietnam, the Netherlands and Italy, gathered at the ceremony to officially open the academic year took place.
In the ceremony participated José Luis Mendoza, president of the UCAM, who stressed the importance of excellent research, sport and evangelization in the institution, and encouraged students to become professionals to help improve society .
Meanwhile, Pablo Blesa, rector of International Relations and Communication, stressed the importance of internationalization in university education, therefore professional experience can bring, such as learning a language and discovering a new culture.
During the ceremony, students also met the various extracurricular activities or volunteer-related or sport that can perform throughout your stay;
in addition to own the equipment at the University UCAM Murcia CF and CB UCAM, the Superior School of Languages ​​of the University;
and the Department of Institutional Relations.
Flavia comes from Portugal to study Occupational Therapy.
A month that reached the Campus of Los Jeronimos, as does Edgar, Civil Engineering student from Mexico, for whom this experience has been very positive.
