The University of Murcia awarded the supply of electricity by 4.1 million euros (06/10/2015)

The University of Murcia has awarded the contract to supply electricity for one year "Gesternova SA", amounting to 4.1 million euros.

The award was made by prices indexed to the pool (open market purchase), which is to pay for the energy consumed a variable price based on the purchase price in the wholesale market.

This system saves the previous contractual fixed price scheme.

The contract includes the lighting, air conditioning, electrical equipment of laboratories and computer rooms, outdoor lighting and other necessary maintenance of infrastructure facilities in the five campuses.
