The public participation process before the end of the year will culminate in the design and approval of Strategy 2020 Murcia City enters its decisive phase tomorrow.

In this open process will play a key role citizens, individually, they want to record their ideas and propose initiatives to improve the city.
Conducting about 1,000 surveys throughout the city, dividing the sample into six zones to ensure representativeness: zone 1 and 2 from the center of Murcia, South Coast, North Belt In this case, two-way starting tomorrow are enabled , Golf Murcia, traditional Huerta and industrial center;
and access to online participation form that can be accessed through the municipal website www.murcia.es.
Moreover, in the coming days the six sectoral meetings created tables to analyze, study and discuss proposals as a basis for growth and development of the municipality for the following years will be held.
They include representatives of society Murcia who are called to hold citizen participation in municipal life: employers, unions, professional associations, universities, economic, festive, cultural and social organizations.
In this context, and in order to give voice to the most representative economic and social agents of the municipality, they have created a sectoral working groups that will be launched in the meetings to be held in the Abenarabi Building:

Structuring of the town, accessibility of the territory, the capital of the region.
Table 6: Tourism, Culture, Heritage and Trade.
The city as a cultural and heritage assets, tourism development and projection abroad, recovery of commercial space.
In this first meeting of the sectoral tables attendees will receive specific reports for each analysis elements that provide participants proposing a battery of questions to ponder.
Once the participatory process, the outcome of integrated strategy which will be presented to the Social Council will be prepared.
