Today October 4, 2015 has started on Indefinite Strike, familiarly known as "the coloraos" buses of Murcia.
The strike by USO;
CGT and UGT has been followed up 100%.
They've only gone to work colleagues who had minimum services, which have been respected by the workforce observed.
Since the Committee on Transport Company of Murcia want to appeal to the leadership of the company to listen to the feelings of all staff and abandon its arrogant attitude, which does not conform to the law.
For a long time we have been telling the company that runs some times on Sundays and holidays, they are impossible to meet because of the length thereof.
There is no logic that the same tour lasts 10 minutes on holidays in labor, with less traffic and fewer people using.
This planning involves a stress for drivers because it forces them to run at a speed too slow and stop longer than necessary at stops, causing injury to the public and the users.
We do not understand what criteria follows that bad planning of routes and even less that their response has been, from the beginning, the opening of warnings and fellow records, some with very serious offenses, totally unjustified.
But if that was not enough, the company takes another step in line and completely unilaterally decide to change shifts and Sundays and holidays instead of continuing the journey imposes split shift.
The company insists again and again in the arrogance and unilateralism, thus bypassing the legislation.
The modification of the day is considered a substantial modification of working conditions and requires a consultation period with employee representation, something that has not occurred and that it is the trigger for this strike.
We hope that between sanity to both the direction of the company, as the Ministry of Transport of the City of Murcia and we sit down to negotiate as agreed last February in the Labour Inspectorate.
Since the representation of workers are willing to postpone the strike to paralyze and as long as the company and the council are willing to paralyze and postpone tax shifts unilaterally.
So we manifest in the meeting held in the ORCL (Office of Labour Dispute Resolution) on 1 October.
We understand that consensus and the opening of a dialogue should be an exercise of responsibility by both parties and is not acceptable that the company and the council intend to withdraw the strike without removing them tax shifts.
