San Antonio Catholic University and the World Tourism Organization have long collaborated actively and on Monday October 5 strengthen its ties with the signing of an agreement between the two institutions.
The event will take place in the Chapter Hall of the Monastery of Jeronimos at 18:30 and will be present: José Luis Mendoza, president of the UCAM;
Taleb Rifai, secretary general of the World Tourism Organization;
and Isabel Borrego, Secretary of State for Tourism.
In this meeting which reflects the clear commitment to internationalization of the university, students and teachers will participate in Tourism Grade Catholic University.
Studies related to tourism are of particular relevance in the UCAM and therefore offer the Degree in Tourism in the campus of Murcia and Cartagena.
In addition, they also have special relevance graduate programs: Master in Business Hotels and Catering and Tourism Master in Innovation and Marketing, the latter with English version has benefited from the presence of students from various countries among them Vietnam and India.
The UCAM, through its Degree in Tourism, is the only university in the region that is affiliated with the World Tourism Organization since 2010 and this agreement is to increase the collaboration between the two institutions through research, exchange of knowledge and support for university training in the tourism sector.
