The City of Murcia, through the Department of Social Rights, has launched the Training Program for Families with children in vulnerable situations.
The new workshop starts today in the Library of Cabezo de Torres and will be held on 5,19 and 26 October and 2 November, from 10:00 to 11:30.
From the Department of Social Rights, in the framework of the Childhood and Adolescence, he explained the councilor Ruiz Caballero, "working with cases of children who are vulnerable or social risk, family, school or environmental factors and lack of protection. "
According to the head of social rights, this Project aims to "support the positive exercise of parenthood, promoting skills for changes in family functions that improve care and protection and education to facilitate development opportunities for children who are responsible. "
"The workshop works of a group and has a theoretical and practical nature that encourages the participation of / as attending the sessions, with the use of group dynamics, practical exercises, discussions and exchanges between participants and professionals," as he qualified Ruiz Caballero.
This working model addresses using intervention areas: Psychoeducational, Clinical and Psychosocial.
The objectives are, among others, to inform and educate parents participating in the complex educational family activity, work the personal aspects of the students, provide guidance for standardization, strategies and guidelines regarding the education of children, improve the family atmosphere and provide tools to address the issues that are impacting negatively.
Programming consists of 4 modules:
Module I. "Human Development and Evolutionary Stages
Module II.
"The Parental Function" (1 session)
Module III.
"Positive Family Conflict Management"
Module IV.
"Children in Adolescence" (2 sessions)
