The University of Murcia has obtained certification this summer the Ministry of Agriculture and Water of the Region for the compensation of 170.5 tons of CO2 emissions.
Compensation, promoted by the Department of Infrastructure and Sustainability, directed by Professor José María Abellán, is the result of the annual energy production of solar photovoltaic and wind turbine Espinardo campus.
The University of Murcia, with the aim of guiding a part of their corporate social responsibility to improve the environmental management of its facilities, is part of the Social Pact for the Environment and Social Responsibility initiative to Combat Climate Change.
