Improved lighting in three districts will energy savings between 50% and 70% (25/09/2015)

The Governing Board has given its approval to the award of the project to renovate and improve lighting in Barrio de la Purisima of El Palmar and others which includes the installation of new lights in different parts of districts.

Thus, in the neighborhood of La Purisima El Palmar replacing ten classic lanterns, which are around 30 years old, LED lamps with modern design is planned.

Meanwhile, in the Path of La Albatalía Culones it is going to strengthen the lighting installation with three points of light LED luminaire 53 W.

Also in the Rise of the Valley of La Alberca, improved street lighting will involve the installation of two points of light LED luminaire 53 W.

Finally intervene in Salamanca Street in La Alberca of five points pollutants Albercadonde balloon type 27 W LED points and two points located in front by 41 W. LED luminaires savings of 71% is obtained are replaced.

The contract budget amounting to 22,660 euros and the work will be performed by Electrical Industries Brocal SA within a period of four months.
