The Councillor for Education, Rafael Gomez, this morning visited the Alfonso X el Sabio avenue where nearly 300 children from different schools in the municipality have participated in the activities organized to mark the Car Free Day.
Schools that have participated during the morning were the San Pablo CP, CP and CP María Maroto Cierva Peñafiel
Throughout the Car Free Day, the Alfonso X avenue remained closed to traffic and it has developed various activities such as guitar concerts, display of martial arts, body painting, workshops, dance, percussion ...
This activity is intended to involve citizens to reconsider the way we think our movements, encouraging people to opt for sustainable mobility and multimodality
