The Department of Planning, Environment and Huerta, who heads Antonio Navarro, will proceed this weekend to the reopening of an environmental information and visitor center Majal Blanco, during the summer they have been closed to the public for the hot season.
Environmental Information point Majal Blanco is located in the Plaza de las Moreras and from Saturday September 19 has its opening hours on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 9:30 to 14 h.
Meanwhile the Visitor Centre in the Nature of Majal Blanco, opens on Sunday at the same time from 9.30 to 14 hours.
Both infrastructures are designed as a service to visitors to the City Forest Park Majal Blanco, serving in this way needs a space that records an increasing number of people, especially people who practice hiking trails Small Tour marked in the zone.
Workers of the Department provide visitors needed to meet the most relevant natural and cultural environment information, infrastructure and existing facilities for public use, and also disclosed behavioral norms necessary for the conservation of the environment.
Similarly, information about Majal Blanco is the place of reception of persons performing itineraries and other program activities of information and environmental awareness of the council.
From 2003 to May 2015, more than 22,000 visitors have been treated at the information desk.
As to the Visitor Center, since its launch in March 2013, about 2,000 people attended the center.
