On the occasion of the European Mobility Week, the city of Murcia, through the Department of Social Rights, has participated in different activities with associations of people with disabilities as ASPANPAL, ASPAYM, FAMDIF and ONCE, to raise awareness and sensitize Murcia on the "enormous difficulties" within this group daily when you have to perform everyday actions like walking through the streets of the city.
To this end, it has set up a zone in the Alfonso X promenade where the four associations have been involved in the event with various activities.
Specifically, ASPAYM, through a group of volunteers, has conducted a campaign of awareness and driver education in collaboration with the local police, raising awareness to drivers to warn them of the consequences of reckless driving.

Meanwhile, FAMDIF has distributed brochures to raise public awareness by young people with physical disabilities and volunteers.
