The councilor of the Municipal Socialist Group, Begoña García Retegui, took stock of the September Fair, whose main activities coincidiencdo ended yesterday with the celebration of the Pilgrimage of the Virgin of Fuensanta Wednesday.
The socialist mayor thanked the work and dedication of associations, organizations, clubs, Kabila and retinues, who each year make it possible to organize the September Fair and are "those that manage to enjoy Murcia and Murcia."
"Despite the good weather has accompanied in the last days of the Fair, we regret that the local government has failed to provide news to the parties. There has not been anything new in a program of festive activities we promote in and out of Murcia "he stated Garcia Retegui.
Councillor responsible for monitoring the areas of Culture and Celebration of the Municipal Socialist Group has asked the Department of Culture that has all those involved in fiestas, local groups from associations and clubs that are the lifeblood of the Fair .
"We hope that we soon put together to work on the Spring Festival and Fair in September 2016 to -HA Retegui- said Garcia, together, make our holidays more attractive and participatory".
Indeed, in terms of participation, the PSOE mayor has demanded a greater role for the districts in the celebration of the holidays.
"The residents of the districts have the right to feel the holidays as their own, so they must have them and ensure that districts feel integrated in the celebrations," he concluded.
