About a hundred teams will meet on Saturday at the sixth meeting of solidarity 3x3 basketball "Together for inclusion", to be held in the University Square from 9 am.
The event, organized by Astrapace, was presented this morning by its president, Rosa Garcia Iniesta, accompanied by the councilman of Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz.
Last year appointment at the meeting more than 400 participants, who played 180 games in eight basketball courts along 10 uninterrupted hours were given.
One day before the registration period closes, the expectation is that next Saturday will reach similar figures.
Therefore the competitive level and by the principle of solidarity, this event promoted by Astrapace has become one of the most representative events of the state, which considers sport a symbol of values ​​such as effort, overcoming and perseverance, very present both in basketball and its users.
The revenue that is obtained will go to finance the participation of users Astrapace in competitions, testing and training organized by Special Olympics across the country.
Also, part of the funds obtained will be devoted to Cuídame project program to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities by care activities and health care, to promote disease prevention and physical and cognitive impairment.
For this, besides the price of registration, Astrapace can collect funds from the "Barra Solidarity", which will offer snacks, soft drinks and paella at symbolic prices.
The Association for the Treatment of Persons with Cerebral Palsy and Related Pathologies Murcia has been working on the quality of life, social and labor integration and recognition of the rights of their users 35 years.
