750 relay runners to solidarity Aspanpal are targeted (04/09/2015)

The last Sunday of September in the streets of the city the Relay Race III Aspanpal Solidarity, which will bring together 150 composed of 750 runners, including 450 adults and 300 children teams.

It will involve teams of three riders, who will have to give a total of 5 laps on a closed circuit of 3350 meters, covering a distance of 16,750 meters.

At approximately 12:30 pm will be the turn of the race for children, organized domino, making consecutive arrival of the last rider to finish in the lowest category, which will output the following outputs.

those born between 2009 and 2011, made 200 meters;

The test will be assisted by former champion Jaime Martinez Olympic Morga, deaf athlete recently proclaimed runner-up of Europe.

The event, organized by the Association of Parents of Children with Hearing and Language, which is integrated in the region for about 300 families, a third of which the municipality of Murcia.

The race has the support of the City and the Athletics Federation and was presented this morning by the Mayor, José Ballesta, the executive director of the event and former director of Aspanpal, Antonio Iborra, and the president of the federation, Juanma Molina, also attended by the Councillor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello.

Every year since 1958, the last week of September, deaf communities worldwide organized the International Week of the Deaf, culminating in the International Day of the Deaf to be held on the last Sunday of the month.

It is a day of vindicating where deaf people express their demands in a matter of rights, while highlights the richness of the deaf culture.
