The Councillor for Security and Civil Protection, Lola Sanchez, participated this morning in reading a Decalogue to raise awareness of the risks of forest fires in the summer and the need to prevent organized by the Ministry of Environment.
The event, which took place under the ficus Plaza de Santo Domingo, has involved reading the following:
1. Do not light fires on the mountain, especially in times of risk.
2. For your safety, do not work alone or use tools that can cause sparks.
3. Do not throw rubbish outside the containers provided.
4. Respect the restrictions on access to forest areas during times of risk.
5. Do not throw cigarettes or matches on the ground.
6. In times of risk, take precautions in the use of agricultural and forestry machinery that can cause fires.
7. The use of fire in agriculture and forestry requires authorization.
Take advice from the Office of Environmental Agents closer and more extreme every precaution in their execution.
8. If you notice a fire, immediately notifies the Emergency Coordination Center of Murcia way through the 112 phone.
9. Collaborates with suppression resources and their indications serving to ensure the safety of all.
10. The prevention of forest fires is everyone, since 95% of forest fires are caused by human action, so we must put all our attention on avoiding them.
