The Department of Traffic August leverage to implement the plan refinish 50,000 square meters of wide avenues and streets, with the objective of maintaining and ensuring road safety.
On Monday August 3 will begin work to improve road markings in different districts and major arteries.
The task of repainting and general maintenance of signaling will take place through two teams of three people who act together and coordinated in order to expedite the implementation of the work manner.
In particular it shall be improved signaling with acrylic paint on pedestrian crossings, directional arrows, symbols, line separation lanes ... The paint used is acrylic, especially designed for the city for their resistance to traffic.
The elections of the tracks were performed after seeking the opinion of the neighborhood councils and based on the status of the signaling traffic and the states of each of the rails.
These work areas will be developed during the month of August and at night to minimize any inconvenience.
Thus, the first week of August (3 to 7) will proceed to refinish Pintor Pedro Flores, watchtowers, St. Andrew and St. Anton, El Carmen, Santa Maria de Gracia, San Antonio and San Basilio;
the second week (10 to 14) will act in the Ranero and Vistabella;
the third week (17 to 21) will be the turn of Vistalegre, fame-La Paz and Infante, while last week (24 to 28) work in Infante, Fleet and Tower Romo.
The first two weeks of September, before the start of the school year, the streets of Ronda Sur, Miguel Indurain, Juan de Borbon Avenue Los Pinos, Mariano Rojas and Plaza de Castilla-North-Round Primo repaint.
To make this work the City will invest more than 115,000 euros
