The Municipal Observatory of the Bicycle held this morning the first meeting of the new Corporation, chaired by Councilman Traffic, Lola Sanchez, and attended by representatives of different political groups, the Directorate General of Traffic, universities, associations Bicycle users, neighborhood associations, municipal level, Local Police and Local Youth Council, among others.
The council has proposed the development of a new regulation will establish a clear and detailed way, standards to be met pedestrians and cyclists to ensure their safety, as the different uses of public roads, the speed limit, the security and other aspects of interest for the perfect coexistence of pedestrians and cyclists.
In order to achieve these objectives, the City Council also launched an information campaign under the name 'Cyclist, takes pedestrians in you' meant standardization and full integration of the bicycle as a regular means of travel.

The first session also served to finalize the draft Regulation of the Observatory, in its composition, its operations and its schedule of meetings (at least once every quarter) is established.
