If last year the International Festival of micro short-circuits "To be or not to be" was devoted to Alzheimer's disease, the second edition will be dedicated this year to the fight against cancer.
Audiovisual Citrum organized by the festival with the collaboration of the Spanish Association Against Cancer and the University of Murcia, through the Vice President of Communication and Culture.
The Festival of micro short-circuits "To be or not to be", the deadline for submission of papers will be open throughout the month of August 2015, he was born with the aim of mixing Audiovisual Arts in Social Education, and seeks to address the social causes derived from widespread diseases in society.
This is an initiative that invites reflection on these diseases and their effects.
The central theme of this edition will be the fight against cancer and everything that surrounds this disease to social, family and medical level.
If the first edition had the support of players like Juan Echanove, Paco León, Karra Elejalde and Eduardo Noriega, now the festival has received support from Imanol Arias, Ginés García Millán or Terele Pávez.
Those responsible for the festival try to sensitize the general population about the disease of cancer and the family and social impact thereof, increasing the use of audio-visual techniques in therapies to help understand the disease, its prevention or treatment, and use new communications technologies for networking these purposes.
