Members of the Socialist Group of the Regional Assembly met today at the Rector of the University of Murcia with the rector, Jose Orihuela, and members of his team in a match that has addressed the two main concerns educational institution funding and student practices in public hospitals.
After the meeting, the secretary general of PSRM-PSOE, Rafael González Tovar, said that his group will support the multiannual financial plan developed by the University of Murcia, "with amendments if necessary" because "we are convinced that the financing of the University must be one of the central elements of the future position of this region. "
Regarding clinical practices, he noted that "it has to be guaranteed one hundred percent quality of training our future doctors through the Faculty of Medicine, University of Murcia."
