Murcia will host the October 23 meeting of the general assembly of the Network of Cities for the Bicycle, after the resolution adopted in this regard by the board that was held this morning at City Hall.
It has also approved the development of a new bicycle barometer, a national study that will give a current picture of its use in cities.
Apart from Murcia, part of the board of the Council of Barcelona, ​​and the cities of Madrid, Alcobendas, Santander, Sevilla, Zaragoza, Sant Boi de Llobregat, Castrillón, Alovera, Barcelona and its metropolitan area, Alicante and Burgos.
Murcia City Council chairs the RCxB since 2011. The organization, which was created in 2009, it aims to promote a dynamic between the Spanish cities in order to facilitate, and develop safer movement of cyclists, especially in the middle urban.
